A bunch of useless crap

Wow, I have been really busy. And really wet. It seems like everywhere I have been lately it has been raining. At least everywhere I have had to get out and secure a load. I am damn sick of getting rained upon.

I picked up a load, a couple of really big crates, in the rain, in Omaha on Friday that were going to Milwaukee. I dropped them, at the yard in Wisconsin, in the rain, on Sunday. I then secured a new model of snow removal truck, in the rain, and hauled it down to Indiana.

I unloaded the snow removal truck, in the rain, and then went back to the yard. I hooked to the load I had dropped at the yard, in the rain, and delivered it in Milwaukee, in the rain.

I went back to the yard and hooked to a different trailer, in the rain, and went up to Oshkosh to load a fire truck chassis and engine, in the rain, and haul it up to Appleton to unload it, in the rain.

This all took place between 8:00 am Friday and 6:00 pm Monday.

Today, Tuesday, I picked up a fire truck going down to Fort Polk, LA, in the rain.

I am really, really getting fucking sick of being rained on!

On the plus side, I met a very intelligent and entertaining young lady in Council Bluffs, IA. I chatted with her for quite a while and found her to be a great relief from the usual brain dead sorts that I often come across in my travels. The fact that she was young and attractive didn't hurt.

Your rough "cowboy" look gets you all the cuties!

As for the rain, get a load for this area.  We had a squall line coming at us the other day.  And as it got here, it separated and went around the city!  Another was coming yesterday.  Dried up before arriving!  So if you get a load for Richmond, one of 2 things will happen.  You will load/unload with no rain, or we will get rain (unless you have your own personal rain cloud.

Nice to see you post Mason.  Rain would be appreciated here in ABQ.  Stay cool and dry guy.

Is that your clouds silver lining? Sweet. All I ever get is a cold.

Well I have certainly not been lacking for rain anywhere I have been. Since posting this I have been rained on in IL, MO, AR, and LA. It's getting a bit tiring.

Thanks. I could do with some dry weather at this point. I got caught in a downpour over in IL last night as I was walking back to my truck after dinner.

AH well, right place at the right time I guess. Getting to meet...interesting people as I travel is one of the perks of my line of work.
