A bunch of useless crap

I am so amused that I managed to upset our resident pantywaist while exposing him for the hypocrite and phony religious adherent that he truly is. He's a fucking waste of space and a complete moron. Not to mention a crybaby who needs to go suck on a tit (might do his wimpy ass some good).

Enough of that, let him cry in his Cheerios, he's a pathetic wimp.

I made delivery in IL today and then boogied up to the yard to see what I'm doing next. "R" gave me a choice of three loads. One was going to Florida, but didn't pay as well as I would like, one was going to California and paid better but, well, I hate Califorinia, and the third was going to New Jersey (which I also hate) and was paying quite well.

After a bit of Q&A I decided to take the NJ load. While NJ isn't my favorite part of the country at least the load is going to south Jersey which isn't too bad. It's just 30 minutes from Atlantic City so if I wind up with a layover I might wander over there and check out the night life. Nothing like a little Mob action to liven things up a bit.

I checked into the hotel here and went over to Applebee's for dinner. The bartender, "J" works during the day as a roofer and is a pretty good guy. He's the one who decided to learn kntting thanks to seeing me doing it.

I noticed he was walking kind of funny and mentioned it to him. Seems that while working on a roof today he managed to shoot a nail from a nail gun through his foot. Ouch. As I have had extensive first aid and other medical training over the years I made him take off his shoe and let me check it out.

Sure enough, he had a rather nasty looking puncture wound in his foot and hadn't treated it at all. Dumbass.

I sent one of the servers over to the pharmacy for some alcohol. gauze, tape and Neosporin. When she got back I cleaned and bandaged his wound, all the time chewing his ass for not taking care of it earlier. Punctures are especially prone to serious infections. I made him promise, on pain of an ass whipping, to keep it cleaned, sanitized, and bandaged until it heals up.

I may be a natural born asshole and proud of it, but I do care about my friends and their health.

When I first got to Applebee's I got hugs from several of the ladies who work there, which I always enjoy. That always makes my day.

I was sitting at the bar chatting with the folks there when a man and woman sat down to my right, The woman said "Hey, this guy's knitting! Now there's a real man!" Naturally this got my attention and I thanked her. I talked with her for a little while, all the time the guy she was with was looking less and less happy. I directed the converation to him so he wouldn't feel left out.

Turns out he has given her a hard time because she does cross stitch and he thinks of it as something a grandmother does. I told him that there is nothing wrong with craft work and that maybe he should consider taking it up himself.

After a bit of talking he said that he does a bit of wood working. I expressed how that was something a grandpa would do. I think he got the point.

All in all it was an enjoyable evening. I saw a few folks that I hadn't seen in a while, met a few new people, and got several hugs and even a couple of kisses.

One young lady thought my knitting was 'kinda weird' but thought my tattoos were 'killer'. No accounting for taste I guess, especially when talking about a 20 something female.

At least she gave me a nice hug.

BTW, have you gotten any responses from the admins yet? Just curious.

No, I'm sure they have much more important things to do than listening to the whinings of a wimp who brings things on himself.

I had a nail driven under my foot once. Was exploring an area near my grandfathers house in Puerto Rico where a storm had caused the nearby river to overflow and ravage the small houses near it. As I walked around I failed to see a piece of wood with a nail sticking up, man did that hurt. Luckly nothing serious cam from it but still. But he should have had that checked though.. Had to hurt like crazy.

Yeah punctures are highly prone to infections.

Tulips....That is what JU needs more of.

Perhaps, but I've always been partial to gladiolas myself.

How's a bout a Tulip and a Daisy crossed together. Bruce Almighty likes to call it a Tudaisy (or Toodaisy?).
