I Just Got Called An Assh@le

One of the annoyances of trucking is the lot lizard. They are creatures that wander the parking lots of truckstops knocking on truck doors. As I was sitting here surfing the net I heard a knock on my door. I didn't even need to look to know it was such a creature.

I hit the button to roll down my window a bit and asked her what she wanted although I already knew the answer. "Want some company?" she asked. "No" was my reply. That is usually enough for them but this one responded with "No? Why not?"

I replied in a tad more stern voice "No. Just no. End of conversation." Her response was "Ok." and as she walked away "Asshole."

Yup, I'm an asshole for not wanting to let some random and unsolicited prostitute into my truck. I'm an asshole for having enough self respect to not feel the need to hire the services of a sleeper leaper. I'm an asshole for preferring to say no.

Yup, I'm an asshole. But I am a healthy asshole who doesn't have AIDS.

Now you have me wondering.....are these women attractive?

One of the most beautiful women I ever saw was working a rest stop in Louisiana. I wonder what life circumstances brought her to thinking she had to do that?

Frankly, it made me sad when the trucker she was enticing picked her out of the three girls there and took her off somewhere.

"I can't believe how many of my gal pals liked that movie. I always say...you know she was a street whore right? Like snagging a rich jon is a Cinderella story."

It's the American dream. It made prostitution look good. About time they made a movie about the softer side of it. Ugh.

Thanks, but it's just common sense really. Don't wanna catch a disease, be robbed or arrested, just say no.

A lot of the same reasons my mind never lets my thoughts go in the direction of marital infidelity.

Yeah the same line of reasoning applies to a lot of situations really.
