A bunch of useless crap

I'm sitting at the port in Philly. I just loaded an oversized crate and am waiting for permits so I can move with it. It's some sort of giant machine used to make chocolate of all things. Now it's a matter of time. I can move after the sun sets because it's an oversized load, and I also can't move with it until at least the PA permit arrives via fax.

Now it's a question of who will win this little race. Will Mother nature win and the sun go down on me sitting here in this port, or will our technology get the permit here in time for me to not only be able to move out but to reach a truck stop before the sun sets?

It's now 2:30PM Eastern time. I still have a few hours before the sun sets. I really don't wish to spend the night sitting here in this trash heap of an area. I need to get rolling very soon or I'll be unable to reach a safe harbor for the night. At this point, until the permits arrive, I don't even know what route I need to take or I'd just try to sneak on out and reach a truck stop. Any guess I might make regarding the route would probably be wrong, so I'll just have to sit here and hope the permit folks are on top of their game today and get them sent out right away.

But I'm not holding my breath.

Oh Mason... I know had sad it must have been for you to guess the correct route, get to the truck stop and having to be at a truck stop that had a bar next to it....

(Don't look now.. but us Chocoholics are hijacking your load... don't worry.. we will provide our own transportation... no way am I going to mess w/ your truck.)

I get lucky once in a while.

Make sure your transportation can handle 38,000lbs
