I have the pattern and I'll find the yarn from my huge stash (so huge that my husband, upon seeing the tub in the closet for the first time said "excuse me, but is that really all yarn in there? You could start your own damn store!!!") tomorrow and cast it on. It's a pretty big scarf and whilst I will try my best to get it finished in time for you to wear it at least once this season, you may have to store it over the summer. I'll do my best, though.

Dharma - if you are into taking orders for those things, and the cost isn't excessive, I'd love to buy one of these from you.  Completely understandable if you don't have the time, don't want to make it a commercial exercise, etc.,  but it is a very slick looking item and one I'd love to have here too (and I don't mind paying for the handiwork if it's not terribly expensive).

It's not excessive (it's a lot less than $50; I dunno if you think that's excessive or not), and yes, I'd be happy to make one for you. I'll let you know when once I see how fast this one's knitting up.
