I know I'm a genius but please refrain from copying my ideas, The number 1 reason to blog at joeuser is Sir Peter Maxwell not some wishy washy notion of "fun"

2- Because I enjoy the company of the people that I have met. I have made a lot of friends here, the majority of whom differ in opinions from me, but share my enthusiasm for exchanging ideas.

14. (or an addition to number 2) I get to meet people and make friends that I would never have had the chance to get to know otherwise.

No problem chipri. A thread isn't dead until nobody reads it any more. It isn't up to some anon poster to declare any thread to be dead. Just another troll. While I was tempted to delete that post I decided to let it ride as I'm not in the habit of deleting people's comments.

Feel free to post on any old article (mine or others) that you deem worthy.

hey, i missed this first time around. you go, chip !. i think it's great idea to read old blogs you missed before you arrived. i may do a bit of it myself soon.

i liked this mason. what a trip back in time !. dan, jeremy and jess were all regular posters. wow. very trippy indeed !

and for the record, i blog here for so many reasons, but number one for me would have to be the interaction with so many amazing people the world over.
