Well, I guess Pres. Bush has one again failed to, ummm, no actually it seems the Administration deserves some credit here but it seems that this doesn't deserve a lot of heavy MSM press.

Also, I do think this particular even is newsworthy.

The media narrative for Katrina established a pattern of government incompetence.

This event breaks from that pattern. That makes it newsworthy. The media has spent the last six months reporting stories convincing us that the government just doesn't do this sort of thing.

Now it turns out that the government does this sort of thing occasionally? Totally news.

Yow! Great one! yes, you are 100% correct. But to acknowledge the correction without Clinton is to be sacreligous. No way could Bush do something right.

I apologize Parated2k, I did not appreciate you comparing me to that one track Bush hating machine. I voted for him twice and while critical I have always been respectful. My response here was about the MSM reporting on Government in general and did not refer solely to Bush or this administration.
