A bunch of useless crap

My air conditioner is just not doing the job right now. I can't really blame it. It's just a small window unit and the sun here in Florida this time of year is brutal. During the day the place stays bearable, but just barely.

So today I picked up a fan. As the air conditioner is mounted in the bedroom, I set the fan in the opening between the bedroom and the kitchen/living room to help move some of the cooler air into that area. It helps a bit.

If I keep this place I'll buy another air conditioner and install it in the living room. Perhaps between the two it'll keep it comfortable in here. There is a larger place here that may be coming up for sale soon as the lady is in a nursing home and may wind up staying there. She's already said that if that's the case she'll sell me the place for $1,000. It's both larger and nicer than what I have now, so while I don't wish her any ill will I wouldn't mind buying it.

In the mean time the fan helps a bit.

It's not like I'm here all that much anyway.

Our actual temps haven't been too bad, 90s with a "feels like" of around 100 or so, but the sun can really heat a place up this time of year. Especially a little travel trailer like mine.

Ugh here in Texas it's been a hundred plus nearly every day. Yuck!

And I sleep under a ceiling fan so I get blown all night long...

Haha! No but seriously, I re-read the article and here are a few words that taken away from the context would sound uhm... ELOQUENT, hehe:

BLOW ME

When we lived in the Texas Panhandle when I was growing up, we had swamp coolers. Yeah. For many years that was the only air contidioning the school had too. Not a ton of help, but it kept every nice and humid!

I wish you luck with your...um..."air movement" problem!

I remember those from when I lived in Nevada.
